Congratulations to Paw Theh Dee and his family on their new heat pump! Paw is the 18th recipient of the Mobile Home Pilot Project and the 93rd awardee of the Finger Lakes Climate Fund. Last summer was especially challenging for their family, with temperatures rising to unbearable levels, and Paw shared that his children could hardly tolerate the heat. Before their heat pump installation, they had been relying on natural gas for heating, but the temperatures were inconsistent throughout the house.
Thanks to upgrades completed by Halco, including the new heat pump, spray foam insulation on the underbelly, and an electric panel upgrade, their home has become much more comfortable and warm. Paw is excited to see how the new heat pump performs during the summer months as well.
By switching to a more sustainable energy source, Paw’s family will prevent 153 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere!
“We are happy and grateful for the support this program provided us.”
